Call for Pitches: The Way of Christ in Science and Technology

Post Icon

The Center for Faith and Culture publishes articles that equip ministry leaders on our monthly themes. Our theme for February is “The Way of Christ in Science and Technology.” We want to explore how faith informs our habits and practices with scientific and technological advancements. Here are some sample topics:

  • How does using artificial intelligence affect the human brain (and thus ministry)?
  • What are the ethical ramifications of CRISPR technology? Is it right and good to employ?
  • Does good environmental stewardship mean bringing back extinct species?

Our articles come in three main forms: equipping, resources, and opinions. Descriptions of these categories can be found in the style guide on our submission page.

Want to pitch an 800-word article? Fill out the contact form below or email [email protected]. Include a thesis statement and brief paragraph explaining how you plan to develop your article. Let us know if you closely identify with our expressed views and confessions (or at what points you might diverge). Let us know if you’re a student or alumnus of Southeastern.

The deadline for pitches is Friday, Feb. 6, 2025.
