Call for Pitches: The Way of Christ in Sports and Recreation

The Center for Faith and Culture publishes articles that equip ministry leaders on our monthly themes. Our theme for March is “The Way of Christ in Sports.” We want to explore how faith informs our participation in sports, exercise, and fandom. Here are some sample topics:

  • How do exercise and recreation enable longevity in ministry?
  • The reverberations of increasing numbers of outspoken Christian athletes
  • The intersection of Winter Olympics and the imago Dei
  • Bonus: How should the Christian prepare for the season of Lent?

Want to pitch an 800-word article? Fill out the contact form below or email [email protected]. Include a thesis statement and brief paragraph explaining how you plan to develop your article. Let us know if you closely identify with our expressed views and confessions (or at what points you might diverge). Let us know if you’re a student or alumnus of Southeastern.
