THE RABBIT ROOM SYMPOSIUM

About this event

The Center for Faith and Culture is hosting a Rabbit Room Symposium day in conjunction with the Andrew Peterson concert on December 4th.

These sessions will cover songwriting with guest Jess Ray, creative non-fiction with Dr. Karen Swallow Prior, visual arts with Kyra Hinton, along with a lunch panel where our guest artists will share how they progress in their own creative process.

There will be two parts to this Symposium:

On Friday, December 3, there will be a FREE lecture in the Ledford Center with special guest speaker Dr. Karen Swallow Prior.

On Saturday, December 4, there will be three workshop sessions, as well as a panel discussion with lunch.

10:30 AM – Songwriting Session with Jess Ray (Appleby)
12:00 PM – Luncheon and Panel Discussion (Ledford Event Room)
1:30 PM – Creative Non-Fiction Session with Dr. Karen Swallow Prior (Appleby)
3:30 PM – Visual Arts Session with Kyra Hinton (Appleby)
