Rusty Pritchard | Climate Change, the Migration Crisis, and the Global Church’s Response

About this event

Join us on February 23 at 7pm in the Center for Faith and Culture as Rusty Pritchard delivers a lecture on climate change, the migration crisis, and the global church’s response.

Rusty Pritchard, faithful Christian and proponent of caring for the earth, will encourage us to be faithful stewards of the world that God has given to us. He will also describe how climate change has affected human migration and refugees around the world and how the church can respond.

Lowell (Rusty) Pritchard is a natural resource economist. He has worked for over 30 years at the intersection of environment and international economic development, and he has worked with Tearfund since 2013. Between 1999 and 2006 he helped to create and lead Emory University’s Department of Environmental Studies.

Rusty and his wife Joanna have been married since 1989 and live in Decatur, GA, where he is an elder at All Souls Fellowship. They have a son away at college, a son in high school, and a daughter in middle school.

This lecture is made possible by a grant from the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
