About the CFC

The L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture embodies the life and ministry of Dr. L. Russ Bush whose name it bears.  Dr. Bush served as professor of philosophy and academic dean at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1989 to 2006 after which time he served as the director of the Center until his untimely death.  The Center, which was established in 2006, is a ministry of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is housed in Southeastern’s newest building, Patterson Hall.

The L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture seeks to engage culture as salt and light, presenting the Christian faith and demonstrating its implications for all areas of human existence.
